We are thrilled to have you visit us! Eastridge strives to offer:
If you arrive for the 10:45 a.m. service, the parking lot can be a bit crowded as people who attended the 8:30 a.m. worship service and 9:45 a.m. class period are leaving the property. However, there is typically ample marked guest parking directly in front of the building (east side). If it is raining, you can drop family members off under the covered entrance on the south side of the building or there will be someone in the parking lot with an umbrella to assist you inside.
On your first visit, it’s best to arrive about 10 to 15 minutes early if you’d like to take advantage of our quality Nursery for children birth through 24 months. If you are coming for the 9:45 a.m. Bible class period, you’ll also want to arrive early so we can help you find the appropriate classroom location for each family member.
You will first be met in the parking lot and assisted inside in case of inclement weather. Immediately inside the front entrance you’ll find friendly and knowledgeable volunteers. They will provide some overview information and be happy to help you find the Nursery, classrooms, worship center, coffee, and tea or answer any questions. There is also a Welcome Center where you can get more information just inside the foyer. If it's your first time at Eastridge we have a small gift for you there, so please stop by and say hello.
Hearing devices are available at rear of the auditorium. If unable to hear with a hearing device, Room 105 is set up during 2nd Service to greatly enhance your ability to hear and see.
You will receive a bulletin that includes the worship program when you enter the auditorium. Both assemblies (8:30 and 10:45 a.m.) are identical in style, with the same sermon and music. We use a mix of contemporary praise songs and traditional hymns that are led by a worship leader. The words and music of each song will be displayed on a large screen.
About half way through the service, the children, ages 2 through 1st Grade will be dismissed with the teachers to go to Children’s Worship. This is a time when the children are taught age appropriate lessons and have fun learning about God’s love for them. This is voluntary, and if you or your child are hesitant about going, it’s perfectly fine for them to remain with you.
You are welcome to simply observe or to participate fully as we sing praises to God, join together in prayer, remember Jesus’ sacrifice for us in communion, hear a message from God’s Word, and enjoy being together with others who are seeking to know and follow Jesus. We are honored to have you with us and will do everything we can to make your time with us encouraging and uplifting. If you are looking for a church home we believe your search is over. There are many areas of service for you to be involved in and there are many friends you just haven't met yet. Thank you for visiting our website and we hope to meet you soon!
